Host an Event

You can be a fundraising hero!

You can host an event, any event on behalf of the Samuel Morris (or participate in any of the events that you will find on our Upcoming Events page) by setting up your own fundraising page and become a Fundraising Hero for the Foundation.

What is a fundraising page?

A fundraising page is a special secure website accessible to your family, friends and colleagues that gives you the capabilities to accept donations online. You can share a special message of inspiration, start a blog and share images or a video to help you raise funds for the Samuel Morris Foundation.

Anyone is invited to make donations and leave a message of support to you, as the fundraiser. Donations are tallied and displayed in the fundraising page meter for everyone to see. Donations are automatically processed and transferred to the Samuel Morris and your donors are automatically issued with their tax deductible receipts making it easy for everyone involved!

click on the Everyday Hero logo  and get started setting up your own page raising funds to help children disabled by near drowning or other hypoxic brain injuries, and help us prevent future drowning death and disability through our education and awareness activities.

Turn any event into a  fundraiser!

You don’t have to wait for some else to start an event, YOU CAN. In fact you can turn any event into a fundraiser!

In Celebration

Have you got a birthday  or other special celebration coming up, but really don’t want presents… set up a fundraising page and ask people to donate to the Samuel Morris Foundation instead.

In Memory

When it comes time for a funeral or memorial service many people would rather make a donation to a worthy cause than to give or receive huge bunches of flowers. You can set up a fundraising page in memory of Loved one and ask people to donate to the Samuel Morris Foundation instead of sending flowers.

Any reason you can think of to make a difference!

You simply want to make a difference to the work that the Samuel Morris Foundation does? GREAT!  set up your fundraising page and get cracking raising funds to help us continue or work.

A personal challenge

Create your own personal challenge, set up a fundraising page and ask people to donate to the Samuel Morris Foundation in support of your challenge!

Special Family Occasion

Our children are precious so a great way to celebrate your children, teach them about helping those in the community less fortunate than your family and demonstrate your care for families with children who may not get celebrate all of the milestones you will with your children is to set up a fundraising page for events like christenings, naming ceremonies etc etc and ask family and friends to donate to the Samuel Morris Foundation as part of the celebration.
