You can’t take pool safety seriously enough. That is the powerful message of the Samuel Morris Foundation.
Michael and Jo-Ann Morris established the Foundation after their son, Samuel, suffered a non-fatal drowning incident in the family’s backyard pool, and they have campaigned tirelessly since to improve parents’ awareness of the need to supervise their children around water and make sure their pools are properly fenced.
I congratulate the Samuel Morris Foundation for its valuable contribution to our community and its work to support families and improve safety for children around water.
