An update on Samuel Morris…

We would like to start by thanking everyone who follows the Samuel Morris Foundation updates and supports the work that the Foundation does and let you know what has been happening recently.

Apart from the background story we have primarily kept Samuels personal progress separate to the posts that occur on this website, focusing more on the advocacy side and making Samuels life a contributor to reducing the tragic toll of drowning death and disability.

However, as many of you were initially inspired to follow us based on his story, we feel that we should share with you the fact that Samuel’s life journey is nearly at an end.

We have not posted many updates to the latest news section of our website over the past months as we have been dealing with Samuels deteriorating condition.

Michael has made a number of posts about what has been happening with Samuel, particularly over the past few weeks. These posts can be found at Michael’s blog.

Again, we thank you for your continued support and for all your help in making Samuels life so powerful.  We will continue our advocacy, but things are likely to be quiet from us on the website for a little while as we share Samuel’s final days and adjust to life without him.

Thank You

The Morris Family and the Foundation Directors.
