Grand Opening – Nepean Aquatic Centre

May 16, 2011 by Michael Leave a Comment

Nepean Aquatic Centre - Nepean Swim and Fitness
Nepean Aquatic Centre

The Nepean Aquatic Centre is a brand new aquatic facility operated by Nepean Swim and Fitness which contains a dedicated learn to swim pool as well as four 25m lap lanes, two 50m lap lanes (with an innovative new wall installed that allows these lanes to be divided into 25m lanes, to provide six 25m lanes when required)  and is the largest privately owned/operated facility in the  Region.

The Grand Opening of the Nepean Aquatic Centre was held on Sunday 15th May and provided a great day of fun FREE entertainment and an opportunity for people in the region to check out the new facility.

Nepean Swim and Fitness have been providing professional learn to swim and coaching services to Penrith and Emu Plains and surrounding regions for 14 years. The owners Karen and Alan Bentley have been involved in swimming in the district for over 30 years. From learning to swim, competing, coaching and finally operating their learn to swim businesses, they have a passion for swimming that goes beyond just owning a swim school. They want you to take advantage of their experience and come and share their passion for swimming at one of their swim centres.

Nepean Swim & Fitness services  include- coaching services, disability swimming program, school holiday programs, school intensive programs, Aquarobics (including Aquanatal and Heartmoves classes), public swimming, teenage classes, adult classes, private classes for adults and children, CPR courses, lap swimming, stroke correction, team exercise, pool hire, birthday parties and Austswim hours.

Nepean Swim and Fitness and have been supporting the Samuel Morris Foundation for several years. Their continued support was on display during the The Grand Opening of the new centre with the Samuel Morris Foundation having a stall for the day and information on the Samuel Morris Foundation being put into the hundreds of show bags that where distributed to people visiting the centre. So plenty of people not only got to visit a great new facility but they also got some great reminders about the importance of water safety!

So if you are in or visiting the Nepean Region check out this great new Aquatic Centre, located at Lambridge Place Penrith (off Andrews Road, just near the Regatta  and Whitewater Centre).

Show your support for the Samuel Morris Foundation, just like Alan and Karen Bentley!
